Distance Wedge for KH-Series

Distance Wedges are specialized inserts designed exclusively for KH-Series cable clamps to provide secure fixing support for non-dimensionally stable single conductor cables in trefoil formation, including high-voltage oil cables and trailing cables (HEPR, EPR). Available in two types—S 57/92 (covering 57-92mm outer diameters) and S 90/112 (covering 90-112mm outer diameters)—these wedges are used in combination with Elastic Inlays to maintain proper cable spacing and support.

Manufactured from fibreglass-reinforced high-grade polyamide with specialized UV protection, Distance Wedges deliver exceptional performance from -60°C to +120°C continuous operation, withstanding short-term heating up to 220°C. The material offers superior resistance to UV, ozone, mineral oils, fuels, salts, alkalis, and radiation, meeting UL94 5VA and V-0 flame resistance standards. Fully recyclable and halogen-free (LSZH), these non-metallic, non-magnetic components provide over 40 years of maintenance-free operation while complying with RoHS and REACH regulations.
