KP Series with factory fixed Elastic Inlays (EE)

Hero Background

The KP-Series EE clamps are heavy-duty, fibreglass-reinforced polyamide clamps (non-metallic, UV-protected, self-extinguishing, low-smoke/zero-halogen) designed for trefoil formation of single- or multi-core cables — for both indoor and outdoor use.  They cover cables with outer diameters from 26 mm up to 61 mm

They offer a dynamic short-circuit force resistance of 25,000 N, making them suitable for installations with high fault-current potential.  Their material is rated for continuous operation from –60 °C to +120 °C, with short-term tolerance up to 220 °C, and is resistant to UV, ozone, oils, salts, alkalis, hydrocarbons and other corrosive influences — suitable for harsh environments.

Thanks to the factory-installed elastic inlays (made of ribbed EPDM), the clamps cushion and secure cables — accommodating diameter changes (due to load or temperature), absorbing vibrations, protecting cable jackets, and improving axial retention — especially useful where cables are installed on inclines or vertical surfaces, or subjected to vibration (e.g. turbines).

Mounting is straightforward using standard hardware with tightening torques of about 8 Nm (top part) and 15 Nm (bottom part).
