KT Series

Hero Background
KT Series Clamp

The KT Series are heavy-duty, fibreglass-reinforced polyamide clamps that meet the international standard IEC 61914 and are designed for secure fastening of single- and multi-core cables — indoor or outdoor, even under harsh conditions.  They operate reliably between –60 °C and +120 °C (with short-term tolerance up to 220 °C), offer high material strength (tensile strength ~120 N/mm², flexural strength ~210 N/mm²), and resist UV, ozone, oils, salts, alkalis, hydrocarbons and other environmental stressors.

The KT Series supports cable outer diameters from approx. 19–39 mm and can withstand very high electrodynamic forces: dynamic resistance to short-circuit forces is rated at 25,000 N, making them suitable for environments where high fault-currents or multiple short-circuits are possible.  Their large contact area ensures low surface pressure on cables, helping protect cable jackets.

Installation is straightforward — no special tools are needed — and the clamps are maintenance-free.  Where needed, elastic inlays can be used to cushion the cable (helpful if diameter changes or vibration occur), improve fixation especially on vertical runs, and expand the clamping range for smaller cables.

If you like, I can also produce a compact spec-sheet summarising all key KT Series data (cable diameter, load ratings, temperature range etc.) for easier comparison with other clamp series.
