KT Series with factory fixed Elastic Inlays (EE)

The KT-Series EE clamps are heavy-duty, fibreglass-reinforced polyamide clamps designed to securely fasten single- and multi-core cables (indoor or outdoor) under demanding conditions.  They cover cables with outer diameters from 19 mm up to 36 mm when elastic inlays are used.  Their material is UV-resistant, self-extinguishing, low-smoke and zero-halogen (LSZH), making them suitable for harsh environments — including exposure to ozone, oils, fuels, salts, alkalis, solvents, radiation, and wide temperature swings. 

These clamps provide very high resilience: they have a dynamic short-circuit force resistance of 25,000 N, enabling them to safely restrain cables under fault current events or multiple short circuits.  Their mechanical properties include tensile strength ~ 120 N/mm² and flexural strength ~ 210 N/mm², and they remain operational in ambient temperatures from –60 °C to +120 °C, with short-term tolerance up to 220 °C. 

Thanks to the factory-fixed elastic inlays (made of ribbed EPDM), the clamps cushion cables — compensating for diameter changes due to load or temperature, absorbing vibration, protecting cable jackets, and improving retention especially when cables run vertically or on inclines.  Installation is straightforward, with specified tightening torques (top part 5 Nm, bottom part 20 Nm when fixed), and the design supports single, parallel or bundled cable configurations.
